Free Nurse Aide training for Iowa residents

 If you’re an Iowa resident, you can enroll in a free 4-week nurse aide training program at North Iowa Area Community College in Mason City is offering a new 4-week nurse aide training program.  The 75-hour training program runs Dec. 20-Jan 14.  You then take the state certification exam, and can start employment as a certified nurse assistant (CNA).   NIACC also has programs that can assist with tuition/books, uniforms, testing fees, and transportation costs. Navigators assist students by monitoring progress, problem solving, and finding employment after training.

  Applications will be taken until the class is full or until Nov. 30, whichever comes first.
